People pick up things from other people when they’re around them often and don’t completely hate them, of course James is picking things up from Aleks and “acting like him”, making jokes that Aleks makes, especially when he’s playing games with him. Hell, I pick up jokes and phrases and what not from people I’ve never met and only see through videos on YouTube.

But to say that you like James when he’s “being James” and not “being Aleks” is pretty much saying “HEY JAMES I DON’T LIKE THE NEW YOU AND YOU SHOULD CONFORM TO MY PERSONAL TASTES WHEN IT COMES TO YOU AND YOUR PERSONALITY”.

And that’s kinda fucked up.
